The first age after the Fall was governed by the Adversary. As Jesus informed us in Matthew 13 (parable of the wheat and tares), there are two types of people on Earth. One group are Father’s children, the other group are the Adversary’s children. Here’s how the parable is explained in KJV:
37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;
38 The field is the world (in Greek “kosmos” meaning world); the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;
39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the age (in Greek “aionos” meaning age); and the reapers are the angels.
What we see here is that there is a distinction between the children of the son of Adam, who’s bloodline we are literally following on the pages of many books of the bible, and the children of the Adversary. That in itself is enough proof for me that there were other human beings whose spirits did not originate from our Father, when Adam and Eve left Paradise (please, let’s not descend into bloodlines, blood types and other superficial things, this is about spirits). They left Father’s Kingdom and entered the Adversary’s Kingdom. Age 1 began.
The spiritual beings that we once were received “animal skins” which may point at the dual aspect of our existence ever since. As Jesus said in the gospel of Thomas: “On the day when you were one, you became two. But when you become two, what will you do?” (v.11).
There comes a time when you realize there are two of “you”, you are a spiritual AND a physical being. Yet it wasn’t like that before the Fall. There was no internal division in us, our physical aspect was totally in line with our spiritual truth.
And so Father’s children were expelled from the Kingdom (Paradise) into a different land run by the Adversary. This period of time ended with the great flood.
Please keep in mind that there were two Fathers, two kingdoms, two perspectives, two sides of the conflict.
There was a number of ages (7) set for the contest between the two sides, 7. There was possibly a time limit also set, although I haven’t been shown this for sure. An age was won by Father’s children, if some of them were found worthy AT THE APPOINTED TIME to be part of the Kingdom of Heaven. An age was lost by Father’s children if they were NOT found worthy of the Kingdom of Heaven at the appointed time.
There’s an institution called “Heavenly court” which handles this whole process. This is where the prayers are heard. This is where the Adversary’s plea and Father’s children’s plea used to be heard during the contest. If the verdict was “there are no human beings to be worthy of the Kingdom of Heaven”, the reign would be given over to the Adversary, at which point he, not our Father, would create destructive events on Earth and start another age. He would also create destruction when he was about to lose reign.
The bible speaks of “appointed times” and these are generally misunderstood as some repetitive periods of times in our (agricultural) year generally called “feasts”. That is not so, our Father is beyond time. Why would He pay any attention to CYCLICAL TIME? As per the new testament, notice that Jesus didn’t celebrate Jewish feasts. Ask yourselves why that is.
If you feel like I’m suggesting that it wasn’t our Father / the one that Jesus called Father DID NOT send the flood, you are correct. Do you feel like this description fits our Father, who is unchanging?
The Lord regretted that he had made human beings on the earth, and his heart was deeply troubled. So the Lord said, “I will wipe from the face of the earth the human race I have created—and with them the animals, the birds and the creatures that move along the ground—for I regret that I have made them. (Genesis 6).
When I asked Father about this and also the rest of chapter 6 where Noah is instructed to do certain things to survive the catastrophe, Father explained to me that there were two things going on at the same time.
1) THE PERSPECTIVE OF THE ADVERSARY. On the one hand, there’s the perspective of the father who’s kingdom it was at that time. Don’t forget that Noah lived his first 600 years in the kingdom of the Adversary! It wasn’t our Father’s kingdom, although His children were living in it. As much as the Adversary tried, he was unable to corrupt Noah (who had the spirit of Christ in him). The Adversary knew the appointed time was set in near future and that sooner or later, if Father’s children were found worthy of the Kingdom, the reign would be passed on and he’d lose it. He knew he was going to lose the kingdom! His natural reflex was to destroy it as much as he could while he still could, and that’s what he did. Like an angry child destroying a toy he only borrowed, screaming “if I can’t have it, nobody can!” It is also apparent that the Adversary wasn’t very happy with those he created, with his children.
2) THE PERSPECTIVE OF OUR FATHER. On the other hand, our Father was preparing a “remnant” that would start the Heavenly Kingdom on Earth once the transition of power was over. There was always a remnant left.. those that the Adversary couldn’t touch. Enoch, the 7th from Adam, was a great-grandfather of Noah. He was given much information about the end of that age and he passed some of the information on through naming his son “Metuselah” (see etymology of Metuselah). Metuselah’s name is a riddle and means “death and sent”. When you do the math, Metuselah lived for 969 years and died within the year preceding the flood. Our Father gave Noah a clue to when the appointed time would be: he could expect it once his great-grandfather passed away.
The great flood narrative is sometimes in Christian circles explained as “great judgment”. That is partly true, but again, we need to keep in mind there are two sides to the conflict. Most Christians imagine that our Father looked down upon the Earth, found the people minus Noah +7 to be evil and as a punishment sent the flood to kill it all (minus the 8 people and some animals). Can you feel there’s something wrong with this narrative? Why would be our Father judging people that have nothing to do with Him (that aren’t spiritually his children)?
The Adversary judges his own. The problem begins when you cannot tell a difference between Father’s children and the Adversary’s. Evil will always be evil, but when the light stops giving light, when the salt loses its saltiness, then, Houston, we have a problem, and the Kingdom is removed from Father’s children.
You’re maybe scratching your head thinking why isn’t this narrative clear from the pages in genesis. Consider that the history in genesis was put together in writing by Moses about 800 years after the flood. Were his sources oral stories passed down the generations? Did he have any written sources? We don’t know. It is possible Noah didn’t know he was being spoken to by two entities, one speaking of a destruction, one speaking of a new beginning. It is also possible that the story was passed on so many times that the people repeating it to each other lost the perspective of two kingdoms, two fathers and started to simply say “god said such and such” without distinguishing who was actually speaking. Just like today, when Christians are trying to tell me that (the real) God is coming to judge and destroy. NO!
And so the 1st age ended when Noah entered the ark. I could go on and on about the end of the 1st age but for the sake of not making this long study even longer, I will save this topic for another time. I will only add some key information which I will most likely discuss in a separate study real soon:
1) Noah and his family weren’t the only people saved from the flood. The 8 were given the task to run the Kingdom, as if they were the stewards of it. There were additional 1000 Father’s children that were saved, along with all the animals.
2) The means through which they escaped the flood wasn’t a wooden boat. It was a piece of land that broke off as the waters started to rise. Noah was guided to a particular area on Earth that would break off and had to do some work on it. It wasn’t a boat. This piece of land carried them on the waves and eventually landed in the Middle East in the region of Jordan. This piece of land (about 450 miles in diameter, huge!) was of the ORIGINAL KINGDOM OF HEAVEN, THE PARADISE. When the waters receded enough for the land to finally rest on the mountain as described in genesis, the book of Revelation also makes a mention of that moment. It was described as the holy city descending down from heaven. It was a piece of Paradise (Heaven) coming down to Earth (as the waters were receding) complete with cities, forests, lakes, animals, people, everything. New Heaven and New Earth, new beginning, new age! It already happened and you know it as the story about the ark resting on the mount. It was this piece of land that Moses was looking for and Joshua discovered and sent the spies into about 800 years later.
3) The piece of land which served as a vessel for all those escaping the flood was not originally part of any of the continents as we know of today. It came from a land mass situated within the Earth. I know this sounds confusing and as I said earlier this will be a topic of another study which I’ll link here as soon as it’s done, but for now take a look at Revelation 5:3 “And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth…” There are more habitable places than most people are aware of. The piece of land came from the place described as “in the Earth”, where the Kingdom was originally situated, and floated to the area described as “under the earth”, which is where we have been ever since. Yes, these claims might seem ridiculous, but it will all make sense in the end.
